The first government school launched in Lakshadweep was at Amini on 15th January 1904 after that the States Reorganization Act, 1956 marked a phenomenal change in Lakshdweep educational scenario. Since then the state of Lakshadweep has not looked back and has come up with a large number of primary ands secondary schools.
